Photo of Convocation Hall

Convocation Hall
Convocation Hall was modelled on the Sorbonne theatre in Paris and has one of the most unmistakeable profiles of any U of T building, with its pillared rotunda and broad dome. The building, which cost $100,000 by the time it was completed in 1906, was largely funded by contributions from the newly established Alumni Association.
