Applied Science and Engineering
The thousands of graduates of the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering ably represent its history of leadership and achievement. Since the School of Practical Science was founded in 1873, our graduates have been responsible for innovations that have made a great impact on the natural and built environment, health, medicine, technology, safety, communication, manufacturing, transportation - just about every aspect of human life.

Although space permits us to list only a few out of the many who could equally exemplify our rich history, all of graduates have, over the years, given this faculty so much to be proud of.

U of T's 175th anniversary is a perfect time to recognize the accomplished alumni of the faculty who have contributed so greatly to the university's reputation for developing "Great Minds".
